Documents
1- Applications must be accompanied by the following documents:
- Application Form;
- Copy of the applicant's personal identification documents and family members;
- Copy of the applicant's tax identification documents and the family members who have this identification;
- Copy of the personal income statement (IRS), from the calendar year prior to the application, accompanied by the respective settlement note, the applicant and the members of the household;
- Certificate of content of the property object of the application, issued by the land registry office territorially competent, of the descriptions and of all entries in force;
- Copy of the land registry of the property object of the application, updated;
- Copy of the location plan of the property object of the application at a scale of 1:2000;
- Housing financing plan to be acquired, built, expanded or modified, with an indication of the respective sources of financing;
- Declaration issued according to the model set out in Annex II of Regional Regulatory Decree No. 12/2007/A of 11 May 2007 ;
- List of immovable property owned by the applicant, or any member of the household, other than that which is the subject of the application, drawn up according to the model contained in Annex III of Regional Regulatory Decree No. 12/2007/A of 11 May 2007;
- Architectural project approved by the competent city council or, if it is exempted by law, the descriptive memory of the works to be carried out and respective measurement maps and budget.
2 - In the case of an application for financial contribution for the purchase of housing, it must also be accompanied by the declaration of sale, prepared according to the model contained in Annex IV of Regional Regulatory Decree No. 12/2007/A of 11 May 2007.
3 - In the case of an application for financial co-payment for the purchase of a house, it must also be accompanied by the declaration of sale (Declaration of Sale).

Requirements for the provision of the servisse
Access to financial reimbursement for the purchase of housing depends on the cumulative verification of the following conditions:
Of the candidate and his/her household:
- Not have been or be the interested party, or any other member of their household, benefited by this or any other housing support;
- Not be the interested party, or any other member of their household, owner of urban buildings, unless these are exclusively assigned to their professional activity;
- Not be the interested party, or any other member of their household, owner of rustic buildings whose sum of the respective areas does not exceed 5,000m² and are not subject to allotment operations and urbanization works. If they are the only source of income for the household and are not subject to allotment operations and urbanization works, the sum of the respective areas cannot exceed 30,000m²;
- The gross monthly income of the household is not higher than the maximum limit resulting from the product of the indicated coefficients, having as a gauge the social support index (IAS) of the year to which it refers, by the number of members of the household:

- Have the financial capacity to meet the cost of carrying out the work, deducted from the amount of support to be granted;
- Have an architectural project approved by the competent municipal council or, if it is exempted by law, a descriptive memory of the work to be carried out, accompanied by a map of measurements and budget;
- Not to be a debtor to the tax authorities and social security or, if so, your debts are covered by any regularization plan accepted by the creditors.

- The area surrounding the housing is greater than 500m2 and 1500 m2, in urban or rural areas, respectively.
Other Information
Obligations of Beneficiaries: Anyone benefiting from financial support for the construction, expansion, or modification of housing is subject to the following obligations: Ensure the registration of the non-transferability clause, providing proof of it before the financial support granted is finalized, to the relevant department of the Regional Government responsible for housing; Begin the construction work within a maximum of 6 months from the date of notification of the project’s approval by the competent municipal authority or from the notification of the financial support being granted, whichever is applicable; Complete the construction work within a maximum of 18 months from the start date; Execute the construction work in accordance with the submitted project; Cooperate with inspection and monitoring activities carried out by the department of the Regional Government responsible for housing during the execution of the work and comply with any orders, guidelines, or recommendations issued; Submit supporting documents for expenses issued by the respective suppliers of goods and services; Take out insurance on the property benefiting from financial support within a maximum of 30 days after the usage license is issued, and provide proof of it to the aforementioned Regional Government department; Not use the property for any purpose other than as a permanent primary residence. Sanctions: Except in cases of justified impediment or force majeure, duly proven and recognized by the services of the department of the Regional Government responsible for housing: Failure to cooperate with inspection and monitoring activities will result in the exclusion of the application; Failure to comply with the obligation mentioned in item a) will result in the termination of the right to the granted financial support; Failure to comply with the obligation mentioned in item b) will result in the termination of the right to the granted financial support; Failure to comply with the obligation mentioned in item c) will result in the termination of the right to the granted financial support and, if applicable, reimbursement to the Autonomous Region of the Azores of any amount already paid; Failure to comply with the obligations mentioned in items d), e), and f) will result in the non-payment of future phases of the financial support; Failure to comply with the obligation mentioned in item g) will result in the reimbursement to the Autonomous Region of the Azores of the amount of financial support granted; Failure to comply with the obligation mentioned in item h) will result in the payment to the Autonomous Region of the Azores of: Twice the amount of financial support granted, if the property is sold within the first five years; The amount of financial support granted plus 50%, if the property is sold after five years. Amount of Support: The financial support for the construction, expansion, or modification of housing is determined based on a basic contribution per square meter of gross construction area for the minimum typology appropriate to the household. The base contribution mentioned above may be increased according to the socioeconomic profile of the applicant’s household, as follows: a) By applying a percentage per square meter, taking into account gross monthly income and household composition, in accordance with Tables II and III. b) By an increase of 10% of the base contribution amount, in the case of young beneficiaries. For the purposes of item b) above, “young beneficiaries” are considered those under 35 years of age, or couples (married or in a similar situation) whose combined ages do not exceed 70 years at the date of application. When cumulative with the support provided for in items a) and d) of paragraph 1 of Article 2 of Regional Legislative Decree no. 21/2005/A, of August 3, the amount of financial support determined as per the previous points will be reduced to 50%. The amount of financial support for the construction, expansion, or modification of housing may never exceed the budgeted value for executing the work. The base contribution amount referred to in paragraph 1 of this article will be determined by joint ordinance of the members of the Regional Government responsible for finance and housing.
