This service allows the obtaining of a license to exercise sport fishing in the inland waters, public or private, of the Autonomous Region of the Azores.

Recipients
All interested parties who wish to fish in the lagoons and streams of the Autonomous Region of the Azores.
All individuals under 14 years of age, when accompanied by parents or guardians, holding a sport fishing license, are exempt from fishing licenses.
Other information
Fishing licences confer the right to fish in any public or private waters.
- National License - gives the right to fish throughout the mainland and adjacent islands;
- Regional License - gives the right to fish in the area of the Autonomous Region of the Azores;
- Licencial Dominical - gives the right to fish in the area of the Autonomous Region of the Azores, only on Sundays and national and regional holidays;
- Tourist License - gives the right to fish in the area of the Autonomous Region of the Azores, every day, for a maximum period of 30 days;
- Special License - gives the right to fish in the area of the Autonomous Region of the Azores, every day, for a maximum period of 10 days.
The tourist license can only be granted to foreigners or non-nationals residents in the Region.
