Maré de Agosto 2025 – Tickets Now on Sale

 

Santa Maria Island is getting ready to host the 41st edition of the Maré de Agosto Festival, a highlight on the summer calendar of the Azores Archipelago.

 

From August 21 to 23, the iconic Praia Formosa will be the stage for sounds and rhythms from around the world, promising a memorable musical experience with the ocean as its backdrop.

 

Tickets for the festival are now available at all RIAC Shops.

 

The “Festival Pack,” which grants access to all three days of festivities, costs €55. Daily tickets are priced at €20 for August 21 and 22, and €25 for August 23.

 

Tickets must be exchanged for access wristbands at the Maré Store by August 18 or at the kiosk (next to the ticket booth) from 4 PM on each day of the event.

 

Admission is free for children under 14, provided they are accompanied by an adult and present identification at the entrance.

 

The oldest music festival in the Azores is organized by the Associação Cultural Maré de Agosto. With an eclectic program, it spans various musical genres, bringing together national and international artists.

 

Maré de Agosto is a celebration of World Music that, year after year, strengthens its position as a cultural reference point in the Azores.
