MAIN OBJECTIVE: The "RIAC" project has been evaluated over more than 10 years of existence with growing and always very positive acceptance in relation to the community it serves. The proximity to the populations of a service as dispersed as they are, in addition to being an identity mark, constitutes, above all, an element of integration and promotion of the inclusion that is intended. Now, new technologies and the great communication channel that is the INTERNET, where distance is a concept devoid of effective meaning, allow for an even closer, more agile, and robust embodiment of this institutional project, through the creation of a true "RIAC Online Shop" where citizens, without leaving the comfort of their homes or even with the "tip of their finger," wherever they are, via a mobile application, can directly contact various levels of public administration and execute services of their interest, with the virtue of maintaining the humanized and personalized principle that is a distinctive and differentiating element of the "RIAC" project.
This intervention aims to promote the qualification, consolidation, and expansion both physically and digitally of the public service provided by RIAC, creating physical and technological conditions that allow for the continuation of the public administration modernization strategy and its relationship with citizens, prioritizing a clear commitment to the availability of public and public interest services online, with full respect for technical principles of security and data protection.
Facilitating the daily challenges of our citizenship, overcoming the obstacles imposed by geography, especially from the perspective of the high geographical dispersion of the Azores Archipelago, starting from the productive exploitation of the opportunities created by the potential resulting from the use of new technologies and the added value that this will bring, in terms of the quality of life of citizens, can easily be translated as the main purpose of the proposed intervention.
The project, which is framed in priority axis 2 "Improving Access to Information and Communication Technologies, as well as their Use and Quality," investment priority 2.3 "Strengthening ICT applications for online administration, online learning, cyber inclusion, electronic culture, and online health" and specific objective 2.3.1 "Reducing context costs through strengthening the availability and promotion of the use of public administration network services and improving administration efficiency," fully fits into the types of intervention provided for the major area of intervention 3.1 "Actions that promote Smart Administration, through investments in equipment and software development" as well as the types of intervention provided for the major area of intervention 3.2 "Actions that promote the widespread demand and use of ICT, through investments in infrastructure, equipment, and software development."
It should be noted that this project, once executed, will make a very direct and visible contribution to the achievement indicators of the specific objective to which it applies, namely, indicator R231, as well as achievement indicators by investment priority O231 and O232 and the performance of priority axis 2 in terms of its physical O232 and financial F22 achievement.

DESCRIPTION: The RIAC project is characterized by principles where proximity, modernity, and simplicity describe the relationship with the citizen of a concept that has transformed the visible face of the Azorean public administration. This operation foresees investments - infrastructure, equipment, awareness, and software development, aimed at qualifying the service provided, strengthening its scope, and, above all, strengthening its availability through digital means.
